Interestingly, at the same time this massive shift is moving forward into our consciousness, we are also being bombarded with increasing levels of poisons, targeting all levels of our being.  These poisons are in our tap water, in our air from the daily chem trails, in our food with harmful ingredients and pesticides.  The ubiquitous 5G bombardment affects us in many harmful ways.  And there is the tv news thats spreads fear like a wild fire.

All of this external stress affects our health.  Make no mistake, there is a plan targeting to cripple humanity on all levels of our being: physically, emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually.  All these efforts have the intention of disconnecting people from our true nature and our true power.  We are easier to control and manipulate when we are disconnected from our spirit, disconnected from our body, disconnected from our emotions and disconnected from each other.  

What can we do about it?

Shamanism can support us with connecting with ourselves so that we can tap into a whole team of spiritual support from our spirit guides, ancestors, angels and other worldly beings that are always there for us.  These ancient beings are always guiding us and supporting us on our journey, nudging us to our highest potential.  This communication with spirit is sometimes subtle and requires us to slow down and listen to hear it.  We have the free will to follow this guidance or not.  The communication can come in a dream, from a new thought that pop into your mind, or from the lyrics of a song that tells you exactly what you need to know.  Also pay attention to the communication we feel from animals.  Our ancestors will often come visit us in the form of an animal.

When we are connected to our spirit, we can tap into our own built in lie detector and we can feel when we are being lied to.  When people speak the truth- it has a vibration that can be felt.  

When we are connected to our body, we can feel when we are out of balance.  Our body is constantly in communication with us through subtle and not so subtle ways.  If we listen to the wisdom of our body, there is valuable information about what we need to come back to wholeness and balance.

When we connect with our emotions, we are plugged into knowing what we need- they guide us.  Our emotions connect us to our creativity, and our Divinity.  Feeling and releasing emotions is the fasted way to heal.  All the emotions that we choose not to feel are stored in our body and if this becomes chronic, it can create illness. Once an emotion is felt completely- it is released from our body and we evolve.

We are all powerful creators.  We have the ability to create the life we want. This isn’t about bypassing challenging emotions, but embracing all of who we are and loving ourselves exactly as we are, right now.  Align yourself with the light of God everyday, or with your own higher power that your are connected to. 

The more connected you are with the totality of who you are, your health and wellbeing will dramatically improve.  When you are in the flow of life, magic occurs and synchronicities become more frequent.

Soul loss happens when fragments of our soul go away during traumatic events such as divorce, loss of a loved one, an accident, war, injury, or abuse.  These soul fragments are a part of us, imbued with our energy- so this greatly impacts our life.  This can be felt by having less energy, feeling apathetic about life, depression, lacking passion or purpose.  Or perhaps this results in frequent illness.  We learn to adapt to who we are without these fragments.  A soul retrieval is an ancient shamanic tool to recover these soul fragments and to bring them back into the present using the process of shamanic journey.  

In this journey, we meet these fragments of self, which are younger parts of ourselves that are disconnected from us.  The soul retrieval entails beginning a dialog with them to understand why they left, what they need to feel safe, and if they are willing to return to present time to be cared for and integrated.  Most of the time they are willing to return and sometimes it takes some negotiation.

This process does restore a feeling of wholeness.  Some people feel like they are more present in their body, more energy available, and experience more internal resources to navigate their lives.  However, it is not a quick fix.  The key is integrating this into your life and following through with your commitments you made to your fragmented selves, so that they feel safe and cared for.  This is essentially re-parenting yourself with love and nurturing.  There is a similar therapeutic approach called inner child work.  As a result, deep healing occurs when we embrace all of who we are with love.

In Shamanism, we don’t focus on treating symptoms, instead we focus on the root causes of illness which is always connected to imbalances with  energy, emotion, and spirit. This shamanic journey is about accessing and awakening your own ability to heal your body.  You will have an opportunity to deeply listen to the wisdom of your body and hear it’s message.  

The most common imbalance is when unresolved trauma and unfelt emotions are stored in the body. These unfelt emotions don’t disappear, they stay in the body and they create energy blocks.  Your energy is designed to flow throughout your body.  When the energy blocks are chronic, they can create disease and illness.  Feeling your emotions and allowing them brings more life force energy into your body and breaks up the blockages.  Allowing your emotions is the fastest path towards healing and evolving your consciousness.

In shamanic cosmology there are three worlds: lower, middle and upper.  These are not physical locations but archetypal locations that reside in our universal consciousness.  Shamans journey to the lower world for healing, transformation, recover missing soul fragments, and to seek guidance from spirit guides.  Spirit guides/helpers appear in the form of animals, trees, plants, the elements or ancestral spirits.  We access the lower world by journeying down into the roots of the Tree of Life.

The middle world is the spiritual parallel to our world here on Earth.  When we leave our body during out of body experiences or astral travel, we are in the middle world.  Shamans would journey to the middle world to communicate with others, to explore different locations or to find out specific information for the wellbeing of the community.

Our spiritual teachers, masters and angels reside in the upper world.  This is accessed through journeying higher beyond the Tree of Life.  We journey here for guidance about life’s purpose and what we came here to learn.  It can be accessed to bring more balance and meaning into our lives.

A fascinating exploration discovering modern tools from the ancient art of shamanic healing. Learn about the mystical “shamanic journey” and how it works. Learn the benefits of meeting and engaging with your animal spirit guide. Discover how trauma can be healed through “soul retrieval” and ancestral lineage healing. These ancient techniques open up new avenues for healing, which aren’t as easily accessible in traditional psychotherapy. Most people are unaware of what shamanic healing is about or have misconceived ideas about it. Learn about the shamanic core beliefs and how shamanism seeks to bring people into “right relation” with the totality of life. At the end of the presentation, Ernie opens up sacred space with shamanic drumming and leads a short journey to experience the “Hollow Bone” exercise. This exercise is used to open your heart and clear your mind so that you can be open to hear spiritual guidance more clearly. It’s a tool used to get your analytical mind out of the way.

Ernie has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from UC Santa Barbara and a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. He has been supporting people with overcoming trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues, and substance use disorder for over 25 years in his work as a therapist. He has been studying shamanism his whole life.

He wrote his master’s thesis on the healing qualities of altered states of consciousness, which included shamanism. However, it wasn’t until 2021 that he received his formal training on learning the core shamanic skills, and this was a dream come true for him. His teacher is a world-renowned medicine woman, and she has spent her life training with many indigenous elders, learning the shamanic arts. She is devoted to teaching people the core foundational shamanic skills through an accredited shamanic practitioner certification program that she developed, which Ernie graduated from.

Ernie is a shamanic practitioner and owner of Flores Shamanic Healing where he offers private sessions and workshops on shamanic healing. His goal is to offer folks an effective way to heal from trauma that is based on Earth-centered practices and tapping into our own internal healing resources.
